Lists

GroupSpaces allow you to organize your members into subgroups called 'Lists'. They appear as little icons in the 'Lists' column of your member database as well as links in the left hand side of your database.


You can view just the members of a particular list by clicking on the list name link in the left sidebar.

Lists allow you to target particular members when sending e-mails, inviting to events, requesting payments, or setting access settings for all the various pages and tabs of your group (including forum, wiki, files or even specific files). 

This allows you, for example, to have committee only accessible information pages, spreadsheets or forums, as well as letting you distinguish between fully paid-up members and those just interested in information or being on the mailing list. Your member database and organizing members into lists lies at the centre of all the other functionality GroupSpaces offers.
